Unfortunately, I think you have to read a lot of romance to find them. Jennifer Crusie is one (I'd classify her books "romantic comedy"). The Next line by Harlequin is one of the few in which I can tolerate most of the books. Unfortunately, I was just beginning to enjoy their Bombshell line and they eliminated it.
