Love Walked In-Marisa De Los Santos
Love Walked In started off like any other fluffy, sweet, romance novel but quickly turned into something with more depth than expected. It was full of cute movie references, with the heroine looking for her Cary Grant. She found him briefly, but alas he had feet of clay, concerning his sad, lost daughter. The real romance was Cornelia (our heroine) and Clare, the daughter of Cornelia's Cary Grant. It was touching but the end was somehow unsatisfying. One absent and one mentally ill parent, really gave Clare strength of character, but her struggles were not fully fleshed out. The fairy tale romance of Cornelia with her oldest friend was not that realistic. And her choices in the end struck me as odd. I DID like it despite the flaws, but don't know if I could recommend it.

Hi Joemmama! Thank you for visiting my blog. I just wanted to say I got this book from BookMooch recently and can't wait to read it! It sounds like it'll be a good summer read.
