My first foray into the wacky world of David Sedaris, and I want more! This collection of essays is so funny and out there, I was pleasantly surprised. My brother in law has read everything he has written and raved about him for years. He's also a little out there, so I had never taken his lead and read any of the books. My bad! I was rolling with laughter as I read about the babysitter/possible serial killer, going to Tokyo to quit smoking,making coffee with vase water and even the boil on his behind. He takes everyday moments and turns them into hysterical little slices of life, maybe not everyone's life, but his life. If you need a good laugh, this is the book for you. A perfect patio, beach book. Enjoy!!

FYI, there's a short story on free download right now by Sedaris http://www.audible.com/logo - you just go there and there's like a free download button or something and you can get it without buying anything!!! i actually bought when you are engulfed in flames there but you dont have to to get the download.
