Book Blogger Hop!

Book Blogger Hop
Welcome Hoppers! This week's question comes from Elizabeth who blogs at Silver's Reviews.

When you write reviews, do you write them as you are reading or wait until you have read the entire book?

I take lots of notes while reading, and only write my review once I have completed the book. Unfortunately, I am compulsive about finishing every book...so sometimes it takes a long time if I am not that into the book.

  2. I wish that I took more notes while reading. It would facilitate the review process. Oh well...I yam what I yam...

  4. Glad to have found you via the Hop. It must be awful to be compulsive about finishing every book - I instituted a 30 page rule a long time ago - if I don't like it by Page 30, I don't make myself finish it. It's been very liberating!

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  6. Hello, I'm stopping by from the blog hop and just wanted to say hi. I'm a new follower as I've seen on your books read in 2010, we've read some of the same books. I'm a romance reader as well. I love those happy endings! =)

Anyway, I'll be following as you review the books you're reading so keep up the good work.

  8. I can dive right into the middle of a book series if the series' story
    doesn't run chronologically.

That is to say, if each novel in a series is a stand-alone story (like Lee
Child's Reacher novels) then I don't feel the need to start with book one.

On the other hand, a series of books (like Richard Hatch's Battlestar
Galactica novels) can't be read out of sequence since each new book builds
upon the story of the previous entry in the series.

    Happy Book Blogger Hop Friday!
