Don't Sweat the Small Stuff- Don Bruns

Don Bruns has written a clever, funny and sometimes serious book in "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff".

James Lessor and Skip Moore have managed to fake their way into private eye licenses, and More or Less Investigations is born! I think they are hoping for an earn as you learn type of deal but they get thrown into a real life carnival disaster, when they sign on to Moe's Shows. Someone has been fooling with the rides, and causing injury and in one case a death, so James and Skip agree to solve the case for Moe, the owner. Actually Moe is just a part owner, the main part being owned by two very old ladies.

As James and Skip fumble their way through questioning various carnies, they are making more enemies than they are getting answers. These boys put the "in" in inept.but with the help from a couple of their friends, they make some headway, and when one carnival worker is killed, they realize how dangerous this game can be.

Riding the Dragon Tail could be the least scary part of the investigation. Throw in gizmos and a slobbery dog that loves to eat them, and you are in for a ride.

The boys are charming, funny, and hapless as they try to solve the case, before someone else gets hurt. (like them)

This is a new author for me and I look forward to reading more of his work.

I received this book from the publisher for review. Thank you for the introduction to this authors work!
