Martin Cruz Smith

I just came home from my favorite bookstore The Tattered Cover, after seeing Martin Cruz Smith, read from his latest, "Stalin's Ghost". He was funny, very interesting, and had fascinating stories about his travels to Russia over the years. I have been waiting for this one for a long time and it's going to Moab with me for the 4th of July. (if I can resist that long) His insights into the ever changing Russian culture really made me think about how much things have changed over the past few decades. What a nice guy he is and what a terrific writer!
