It seems lately, that folks are not commenting as much as they did in the past. Could it be the readers (google, etc) , and follow programs that offer us so many blogs a day, with no place to comment? I find I am commenting less as well. It isn’t like you have to reinvent the wheel, it is just an extra click, but I think we are getting lazier, as things get simpler. There are some blogs that I follow using the bookmark, mainly because I do love the artwork, and I want to see the entire text. It just feels like I am out here, hanging, alone, and unloved. I am not a big joiner, but think I may get into some challenges, and tours this year. Giveaways are not for me, I think, but I love to win..I am too embarrassed to say much, because some of the blogs I read are so terribly good and I feel stupid leaving any comment. They are way up there and I am way down here, ya know? does anyone else feel embarrassed to comment on a lit blog, or is it just me?
I love to leave comments. I don't get many at my blog so I feel I had better leave some else where so others are not being left out. I like to hit the 'next' button and go on a blog tour and leave good wishes where ever I visit. Its like a fun hobby. I figure I must make the occasional blogger smile.
ReplyDeleteYou made me smile!
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a commenting tour. :) It baffles me that my blog can get 168 visits in a day, and yet no one comments... It's just crickets, crickets, tumbleweed, crickets.
ReplyDeleteLook forward to reading more here, definitely! :)
I just read on West of Mars Win a Book that blogger has been preventing some people from commenting. Here's a link to the post in case anyone is interested. The solution seems to be adding a pop-up comment window (which you already have) so I don't know how helpful the post will be, but I thought I'd leave you the link anyway. :)
